Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov received a delegation of Tajikistan led by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Gulumjan Bobozodo.
The due information has been provided by Novosti-Azerbaijan with reference to the press service for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
Bobozodo called results of the session of Azerbaijani-Tajik intergovernmental commission, which discussed increase of commodity turnover between the two states, development of economic potential, production of aluminum and coke, geological survey, production of metal wares, cooperation in other spheres and establishment of direct air communication.
Tajikistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Yuldoshev, also attending the meeting, said the Tajik Embassy will soon open in Azerbaijan and added that the head of state has already appointed head of the Tajik diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
He noted that Dushanbe is interested in development of bilateral economic relations with Baku. Yuldashev also appreciated high level of mutual ties between the two countries in different spheres.
E.Mamedyarov, in turn, highly assessed intensification of bilateral relations, noting that Azerbaijan is ready to develop bilateral economic ties.
