Rise in prices will be the highest in Azerbaijan among all CIS countries in 2008.
Inflation rate will make up 16%, according to the CIS Statistical Committee.
High inflation rate is also expected in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan (10%) and Moldova (9%).
By the same forecasts, inflation rate will be 8.5% in Ukraine, 8% in Kazakhstan, Georgia and Russia, 7.5% in Belarus, up to 5% in Kyrgyzstan and 4% in Armenia.
On the whole, forecasts of inflation rate throughout CIS do not exceed 8%.
