Indian Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) will supply Azerbaijan with transformers in the amount of 400 million rupees ($10 million).
The company has become a winner of the due tender, declared by Azerenerji.
The transformers are ordered in the framework of a WB-financed project.
By provisions of the tender, the winner will install transformers of a capacity of 330 kV, 240 MWA, 110 kV, 75 MWA and 63 MWA in Azerbaijan.
BHEL has previously executed a contract on the supply of hydro-generator for the Mingechevir hydroelectric power station, equipment for several substations and electric equipment for the Baku Steel Company in the framework of cooperation with Azerbaijan.
