As part of his visit to Oman, Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov met with Undersecretary of the country`s Tourism Ministry Mohammed bin Hamoud Al Tobi to discuss tourism relations between the two countries.
Al Tobi and Khalafov exchanged information about tourism sector in their countries.
Khalaf Khalafov said it was the Azeri government`s wise policy that boosted development of the country`s tourism sector and opened up opportunities for cooperation with countries with developed tourism.
Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister mentioned that tourism relations were discussed during a meeting of tourism ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Baku in 2006.
