Azerbaijan’s Standard Insurance has to date signed 58 mortgage insurance agreements within the scope of the mortgage lending in the country through funding by Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund.
Marketing officia Nargiz Agayeva told APA-Economics that the company has concluded 25 mortgage insurance contracts since January 1. in the range of 0.05% to 0.5%. Established by the AB Standard Group of Companies in October, 2002, Standard Insurance's nominal capital reached AZN 4m as of January 1, 2007. It provides services over 4 compulsory and 20 voluntary insurances at present.
