As of early January, 2007 Georgia's foreign debt and government loan liabilities totaled to $1.697484 billion, including $498.044 million owed to 15 creditor nations.

Georgia amortized debts owed to Austria by $94.305 million and paid off the debt of $679,000 owed to China. Georgia owes Azerbaijan $14.527 million.

Georgia also owes about $1.106443 billion to international financial institutions. The total amount of secured government loans received stood at $93.157 million, the country's Finance Ministry told the APA bureau.
