BP PLC said oil production at the Azeri fields in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea has been partially disrupted by a power outage.
'Production has been cut back over the past couple of days due to power supply interruptions,' said a BP spokeswoman. Production is expected to be fully restored in the next few days, she added. Power failure nearly halved the fields' 600,000-barrel per day output, sources estimate. AFX /Forbes/
