Favorable balance reached $999 941 900 in exports and imports of Azerbaijan during the period of January-October.

As APA reports, the exports stood at 5.2bn and the imports made $4.2bn.

Humanitarian goods of 20.3m tonnes worth $32.5 were imported to the country through the state, governmental and international organizations.

The exports grew by 40.74% year-over-year, in this period and imports grew 19.69%.

Temporary exports made up $31.5m and temporary imports stood at $297.8m.
As to the structure of the export, crude oil was 59.7%, oil products 24.8%, chemicals 3.1%, fruits and vegetables 1.79%, aluminum 1.16%, ferrous metals 0.93%, grease and vegetable oil 0.95%, cotton 0.63%, tobacco 0.35%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages 0.27% and other goods 6.14%.

As to the imports, the machinery and electronics apparatuses equipment and spare parts were 31%, oil gas and other hydrocarbons 9.22%, ferrous metals 9.25%, foodstuffs 7.67%, transport facilities and spare parts 15.47%, costumer goods 1.1, firewood 1.08%, chemist’s goods 0.95% and furniture 0.48%.

The portion of the state sector in the exports was 58.38% and the portion of the private sector was 40.4%, the portion of natural persons was 1.21%. As to imports, the shares are 29.18%, 65.43%, 5.38% respectively.
