Elmir Velizadeh, chair of information recourses and technologies department of the Office of the President of Azerbaijan, the Project Moderator of this glossary project, said that a working group is analyzing the new glossary.

All words remain open for suggestions from November 1 until December 01, 2006. On that date, the Project Moderator will begin the review, selection, and locking of words. Participants can continue to submit suggestions until all words are locked. The final deadline is December 15, 2006. 2 054 suggestions will be discussed during this period. "There are lots of suggestions. 200 words were reviewed at the first stage."

This project provides a forum for Azərbaycan Dili for Windows Vista speakers to participate in creating a technical glossary of software and hardware terminology. The Community Glossary Website allows a locally designated Project Moderator and volunteers to build the technical glossary for those languages where terms have not yet been standardized. The terminology is drawn from words used in the interfaces of widely available software such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. The use of local volunteers to build the glossary allows technical IT terms to be standardized and agreed upon by that community. Microsoft Azerbaijan director general Vladimir Tchaikovsky said Microsoft Azerbaijan is the initiator and sponsor of the Community Glossary project for Windows Vista language and 2007 Microsoft Office in Azerbaijani Language.
