Economic Development Ministry's Antimonopoly Policy Department has begun to probe into the grounds for the rise of the price of cement in the retail market.
The price of some building materials have recently risen but the price of cement has raised to an unacceptable level, Ministry told APA. The task force will investigate the causes, dealers' or distributors' honoring the antimonopoly law, quality of the cement in domestic market etc. The Department will take necessary measures to prevent artificial causes of the price rise.
