Oil price is expected to increase at the world markets, Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said.

He said the current price fall is temporary, APA reports. "Some speculative and geopolitical factors influence the oil price rise. We think and the experts forecast that more oil price fall is unreal. The price is expected to go up more," he said.

He said Azerbaijani manat is strengthening against US dollar in the country. "This should be attributed to petrodollars flowing into the country. Our taxpayers sell dollar in order to pay salary, to implement domestic projects and make payments to the State Budget. In this case, lots of dollars are offered in the market. It is clear that if the supply exceeds the demand, the price go down," he said.
