Enterprises and institutions (excluding agricultural ones) operating in Azerbaijan have gained an income of AZN 1323.8mn and have had a deficit of AZN 155.6 mn in the first half of this year.
As APA reports, the profit rose by AZN 373mn or 39.3% as against 2005's same period. 70.9% (AZN 938mn) of this income came from industrial enterprises. Transportation enterprises worked at a profit of AZN 97.3mn (7.4% in total income), communications ventures at a profit of AZN 86.8mn (6.6%), building companies at a profit of AZN 42.5mn (3.2%). The industry had a deficit of 66.3%, transportation - deficit of 20.2%, finance-a deficit of 3.5%, building- a deficit of 4.6%, trade and service - deficit of 1.2%. As of July 1, mutual receivables of the enterprises and institutions constituted AZN 4478.4mn.
