Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) produced 14 188 000 tonnes of oil during the period of January-August.
This figure is a 6 818 000 tonnes or 92.5% rise on the same period last year. As APA reports, during this period 4 893 907 tonnes of oil were extracted from Chirag field and 9 294 209 tonnes from Azeri field. These indicators are a 47% and three times (6.6mn tonnes) increase on the same period last year. Started oil production in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields in 1997, AIOC has to date produced 20 172 000 tonnes of oil and SOCAR produced 5 984 000 tones in this fields. AIOC produced 13 193 000 and SOCAR produced 8 967 000 tonnes last year.
