Russian Trade Officer in Azerbaijan, Valeri Kuzovkov, told APA that the principal aim of the visit is to build up relations between Russian and Azerbaijani businessmen and to discuss cooperation potential.

A delegation led by Valaeri Burovlyov, Chelyabinsk vice-governor, visited Azerbaijan.
Russian businessmen met with their Azerbaijani counterparts on Thursday, on the last working day of the visit. They discussed expansion of relations between the two countries' businessmen, implementation of joint projects, mutual investment making, export and import potential.

Mr. Kuzovkov said that Chelyabinsk businessmen will visit Baku again in November because 2006 has been declared Russian Year in Azerbaijan.

Sides are much more interested in oil sector, food and light industry.
