"Though I dislike 5-6 officials in Azerbaijan, I do not think of departure. Some state officials misinform the President about Barmek. That is my biggest problem."

Huseyn Arabul, the President of LLC Barmek Azerbaijan Energy Network, has stated this in his interview to journalists. Saying that he has not sued at international court yet, he has said that will be the last step.

Mr. Arabul has said that Barmek cannot bring equipments bought abroad to Azerbaijan, hence cannot get prepared for winter.

"I forcedly ordered more than $2 million equipment on border be sent to Turkey. I cannot pay for equipments I bought from Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and other equipments."

Touching the $291 million compensation he demands from the Government after breaking the contract, Arabul has not excluded more compensation he may require from the Government.

"Everything depends on court decision."

Arabul did not excluded that he might officially stop activity on June 30. He has said that he officially applied at Economic Development Ministry to stop the contract period on March 10.

"According to law, the party may stop activity in 60 days after application. My application ends on June 30."

Mr. Arabul has stated that he has opportunities to stay in Azerbaijan. There are three ways: the first one is mutual discussions, the second one is to study another side’s terms, and the third one is through international court.

"If Barmek drops activity in late May, I will pay salaries of employers from my own pocket till August 1. If someone has money to get from me, he/she is welcome."

Arabul has also stated that he will not leave Azerbaijan unless arrested Barmek employees are released, APA reports.
