Stockholm World International Researches Institute has announced the report of world states' allocation for 2005 in military field.

The report states that generally military budget of world states was $US1025,5 billion (2,6 percent of gross domestic product)in 2005. The US heads the list allocating more allocation to military fields among the world countries, in $US 505,8 billion.

The account indicators the US Congress allocated $US 81 billion more in addition to military fields to cover extra expenditures in Afghanistan and Iran. The allocation of the US to defense field consists of 47 percent of military expenses over the world.

In the first ten, Great Britain comes after the US ($US47,4 billion), France ($US45,2 billion), Japan ($US 42,4 billion), China ($US35,4 billion), Germany ($US 33,9 billion), Italy ($US27,8 billion), Russia ($US19,4 billion), Saudi Arabia ($US19,3 billion), North Korea ($US15,5 billion). India allocating 15,1 billion dollar to defense sector and Israel owing 10,7 billion dollars military budget, are among the states increasing military expenses, APA informs.
