Azerbaijan National Bank informs that AZN69,3 million (12,7%) deposits were attracted in national currency and AZN475,8 million (87,3%) in foreign currency that are 2,1 times and 23% more than figures for last year's same period respectively.

56,4% (AZN307,6 million) of them were deposited in private banks. Average rate of manat against $US1 was AZN0,91, against RR100 was AZN3,29, and it was AZN1,11 against Euro1 in April, 2006. Those rates were as AZN0,91, AZN3,26 and AZN1,10 in early this year respectively, APA reports.
