Transportation in Azerbaijani part of Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) aggregated 11,7 million tons in January-March this year increasing by 14% in comparison to last year's figure for the relevant period.
As APA reports, this is 38,2% of all transportation in country's transport sector.
State Statistical Committee told that AZN52,7 million, 4,1% more than January-March, 2005 figures, was profited by passenger and load transportations in the period under review. Profits were made on railway transport by 61,7%, on sea transport by 19,2% and on land transport by 19%.
