The phone calls to Armenia using Azerbaijan's cellular provider Azercell Telecom are not dangerous, according to Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov.

"Not only Azercell [services], but all of the Sim-card free communication allows interference with the borderline regions. All these issues are being regulated in accord with the recommendations of the International Telecommunications Union," said Abbasov.

According to AssA-Irada, the minister added that there are no grounds for safety concerns, as such communication is overseen by certain entities.
