Minister of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Azerbaijan recently visited the premises of Etisalat University College.

Dr. Arif Sultan Al Hammadi, Deputy Manager, Etisalat University College, along with a number of the academic staff of the college welcomed the distinguished guest, UAE's Strategiy.com informs.

Highlights of the visit were two presentations and a tour of the college premises. During the presentations, Dr. Arif demonstrated both undergraduate and research activities. The tour covered communication, analogue and digital electronics, computer as well as English laboratories, in addition to other facilities of the college such as the library.

At the end of his visit, souvenirs were exchanged and the future of collaboration in the fields of communication and information technology was discussed. The Azerbaijani Minister praised the college for its development and excellence. He said: "I would like to thank the EUC and its management for demonstrating to us the advanced technology and top-of-the-line academic programs they provide." He added: "The efforts of the college are highly appreciated and we are looking forward to having further cooperation and share experiences in the future."

Dr. Arif said: "We are pleased to welcome the Azerbaijani Minister in the premises of the college. We are delighted to demonstrate the advanced state of training and research in the UAE and highlighted the role we play in providing world-standard academic programs in the fields of communication and information technology engineering. We thank the Honorable Minister for his visit and look forward for more visits in the near future."

Etisalat University College is considered to be on the most distinguished educational institutes in the UAE in the fields of Bachelor's, Masters by Research as well as other academic programmes in the fields of telecommunication and computer engineering, in addition to other practices that encourage local talents in the fields of IT, literature and art.
