By March 1 of the current year, volume of loans supplied in Azerbaijan by financial-credit organizations grew by 32.8% in comparison with the same period of the preceding year and made up AZN 1,352.2m.

As APA was informed from the State Statistics Committee, 58.9% of it was short-term loans, and 41.1% long-term loans. 46.5% of loans were supplied by state banks, 49.9% by private banks and 3.6% by non-banking credit organizations. The amount of overdue credit was AZN 66.7m, what makes 4.9% of total crediting.

According to the information provided by the National Bank, in January-March of 2006, AZN 1,519.9 mn of money supply was mobilized, AZN 1,543.1m entered cash desks of banks from circulation, and issuance was AZN 7.5m.
