The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna (CITES) approved at its meeting held the other day the quota of caviar exportation of Iran not being more than 45 thousand tons a year.
The quotas for other Caspian countries – Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan have not been approved yet.
The CITES also adopted decision on prolonging the bank imposed on importation of black caviar for an indefinite period, APA informs.
