This represents a 35.3% increase compared to the previous year. Singapore claimed the top spot for fixed broadband Internet speed last month, while Cuba ranked last.
In terms of mobile internet speed, Azerbaijan advanced 10 places in June compared to May, ranking 49th among 108 countries with a speed of 52.63 MB/s. Qatar held the first place for mobile internet speed, with Cuba again ranking last.
It is significant to note that within the framework of the project "Online Azerbaijan" implemented by the Ministry, systematic work on providing the country with high-speed Internet continues.
Moreover, the relevant structures of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transportation are working in a reinforced mode to provide the population with relevant services, including high-quality and sustainable Internet access.
