This February oil production was 703.3 thousand tons against 674.8 thousand tons of planned volume in the republic, that is, the monthly forecast was implemented 4.2% superfluously.

As APA was informed by SOCAR, 623.5 thousand tons of it (implementation of the forecast – 104.8%) was produced by Oil-and-Gas Production Offices (OGPU), and 79.8 thousand tons (100.3%) by Joint Ventures (JV) and Operating Companies (OC).

In general, 1458.2 thousand tons (102.6%) of oil was produced in January-February this year. Volume of oil production for 2006 is forecasted to be 8.8 million tons. 7.76 million tons of it must be produced by OGPUs, and 1.04 million tons by JVs and OCs.

In January-February, 2005 volume of oil production was 1452.2 thousand tons (100.4%) and 1286.5 thousand of it was produced by OGPUs, and 165.7 thousand tons (100.4%) by JVs and OCs.

Besides, last month SOCAR delivered 700 thousand tons of oil against 668.8 thousand tons of planned volume and the forecast was implemented 104.7%. 617.6 thousand tons (104.7%) of it was delivered by OGPUs, and 82.4 thousand tons (104.3%) by JVs and OCs.

Oil delivery forecast for 2006 is 8.72 million tons. 7.69 million tons of it falls to share of OGPUs, and 1.03 million tons of JVs and OCs.

1440.7 thousand tons (102.2%) of oil was delivered in January-February. 1447.8 thousand tons (99.5%) of oil was delivered in the relevant period of the past year and 1271.7 thousand tons of it was delivered by OGPUs, and 176.1 thousand tons by JVs and OCs.
