As APA reports, tender final report is currently prepared and the creditor of the project must submit its main opinion on results to the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) within a month.

In case of positive reply from the Bank, the technical adviser will start relevant competition and tender works.

The technical adviser will control all works to be carried out from the beginning to the end of the project.

The first 400 megawatt combined-cycle plant in the Shimal Power Plant, which plays an important role in power supply of Absheron peninsula and Baku city, was built at the expense of the JBIC credit as well.
