Marlen Asgarov gives explanations.

"The energy system of Georgia is unable to receive electricity delivered by Azerbaijan. Because they have been unable connect to the energy system of Azerbaijan for the recent two days, Georgia can not receive main electric power," APA was told by the vice-president of the Azerenergy Open Joint-Stock Company Marlen Asgarov.

According to M.Asgarov, "problems arisen due to feebleness of the network system of the neighboring country and changing of voltage in the system do not enable Georgia to receive high voltage electricity from Azerbaijan. They are unable to connect to the network of Azerbaijan just because of this reason".

The Azerenergy official stressed that Georgia receives 100 megawatts of electricity from Azerbaijan at nights and returns 25-30 megawatts to the west regions of Azerbaijan at rush hours.
