The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will temporarily stop selling petrol to abroad.

As ANS reports, the Company’s decision is related to repairing of the Refinery named after Heidar Aliev.

But the issue won’t cause any petrol deficit in Azerbaijan. The Company says there is enough petrol to satisfy the inner demands.

What about the export of Azeri petrol, according to agreements signed last year, SOCAR is to sell 50 thousand tons petrol to PETROFAM of Singapore, and 20 thousand tons to the Georgian SAKNAFTOBTRANSI.
