Gars-Tbilisi-Baku railway will be exploited by the end of 2008.
According to the information given to APA from the Transport Ministry; initial agreement was achieved on establishment of consortium for realization of the project. The headquarters of the consortium will locate in Istanbul.
It was also informed from the Ministry that, new road in the length of 98 km will be constructed in the frame of the project. Totally more than 500 million dollars are estimated to be allocated to all the works.
