The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has announced a new appointment.

Arif Shiraliyev has been appointed director of the CBA department of strategic management, said a message posted on the bank’s website. Earlier, Shiraliyev served as deputy director of the department.

Moreover, the Research and Development Center under the CBA, previously led by Vugar Ahmadov, was liquidated. Ahmadov has been recently appointed a director general at the CBA.

Currently, there are 22 departments in the CBA.
