Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee transferred about 2.38 billion manats to the state budget in January- November 2017 that is by 15.5 percent more than in the same period of 2016, reads the Committee’s report.

The Committee transferred more than 214.75 million manats to the budget in November 2017.

Revenues from customs duties amounted to 61.39 million manats, revenues from value added tax (VAT) hit 142.59 million manats, revenues from excise duty amounted to 7.89 million manats, and revenues from highway-user tax were 2.88 million manats in November.

Revenues from the customs duties increased by 15.1 percent in November 2017 compared to November 2016. Revenues from VAT fall by 10.1 percent, revenues from excise duty rose by 56.5 percent and revenues from highway-user tax increased by 7.1 percent.

The forecast on customs revenues of Azerbaijan’s state budget is 2.25 billion manats for 2017.
