The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's mission on the development of capital markets will visit Azerbaijan in autumn, the bank's president Suma Chakrabarti said at a press conference in Baku on Monday.
"A mission, consisting of the bank specialists on the capital markets, will visit Azerbaijan in September-October 2013 and will continue more detailed discussions in this area," Chakrabarti added.
The EBRD has delivered the loans worth $2.1 billion for 134 projects in Azerbaijan up to now. Around 1.4 billion of these funds were used to support 125 projects in the private sector.
