As of July 1, 2013, the monetary base in manat amounted to 10.265.2 billion manat in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Central Bank's statistics said today.
The monetary base increased by 1.5 percent compared to May 2013 (according to the CBA's data as of June 1, the monetary base amounted to 10.113.3 billion manat in Azerbaijan).
The monetary base decreased by 2.4 percent compared to early 2013. As of January 1, 2013, it reached a record level of 10.515 billion manat.
The official exchange rate is 0.7844 AZN/USD on July 3.
