In January-November, Azerbaijan imported about 67,160 cars, or 17.5 percent more than the same period of 2011, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend today.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the total cost of cars imported into the country in January-November amounted to more than $648.43 million, which is 13.8 percent more than the same period of 2011.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 8,630 units of trucks, or 62.5 percent more than in January-November 2011. Total cost of imported trucks is $199.8 million, or 68.8 percent more than in January-November of 2011.
Also during this period, the country imported 996 units of buses, or 83.1 percent more than in January-November 2011. The total cost of imported buses amounted to $48.28 million, or 119.8 percent more than the same period of 2011.
