Hungary hopes to operate direct flights to Azerbaijan, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations under the Hungarian Prime Minister Office and co-chairman of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian Intergovernmental Economic Commission Peter Szijjarto told journalists on Wednesday.
According to Szijjarto, the issue of operating a direct flight from Baku-Budapest is on the agenda today and being discussed with the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development.
"It would be a great advantage and a step in the development of economic relations between the two countries," he said.
