The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) took the 38thposition in the ranking of Business New Europe magazine “TOP 200 banks of Eurasia”. The ranking includes the largest banks of Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Moldova.

IBA is the only bank in Azerbaijan, included in the list of the 50 largest banks in the region. A subsidiary of the IBA, IBA-Moscow has also been entered into the TOP 200 ranking.

In more than 17 year of its own activities the International Bank of Azerbaijan earned trust and recognition of World Economic Community and evidenced, that the banks can and must be trusty. The achievements of the Bank are recognized by many international agencies and the awards.

Before, the bank was awarded as the Best Bank in the Emerging Markets (for Azerbaijan) by Global Finance magazine (New York, USA) and as the Best Bank in Azerbaijan by Emeafinance magazine (London, Great Britain).

International Bank of Azerbaijan was granted with “Investment Angel” award established by the World Organization of Creditors in nomination “On the investment-banking activity” within the framework of the 4th International Bank Conference.

The Banker British magazine included IBA in the top 1000 most powerful and financially sustainable banks in the world. “International Bank of Azerbaijan” took 958th place.
According to the Center for Economic Analysis, “RIA-Analysis” research the only one Bank from Azerbaijan - International Bank of Azerbaijan was included in the top 50 largest banks of CIS countries, with 33rd place in the ranking.

IBA has won the first international contest “Banks of the CIS, Baltic countries, Georgia-2010” in the category “The best technological bank”. IBA Chairman Jahangir Hajiyev was awarded the “Banker of the Year” in the “Best banks of GUAM-2010” contest. This is the 44th award given to the International Bank of Azerbaijan by international institutions since 2002.
