In January-September 2012, Azerbaijan`s GDP made up AZN 39,8bn. According to a report of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan, it is 1.1%, or AZN 435,1m (at constant prices) more than the GDP in the same period of 2011.

Non-oil GDP increased in comparison with the same period last year by 10.3%. At the same time, oil GDP fell by 6.9%.

67.2% of GDP was formed through the production of goods (including 51.3% through industry), 26.6% - the service sector, including 4.7% - transport sector, 8% - trade and paid services, 1 , 7% - communication, 12.2% - social and other services.

9.8% of GDP accounted for construction sector, 6.1% - agriculture, 6.2% - net taxes on production and imports. As of 1 October, the per capita GDP reached AZN 4,340.2, or USD 5,522.6.
