The amount of fees for customs examinations will be determined only on the basis of a decision of the Cabinet of Ministers in Azerbaijan. In this regard, the Azerbaijani Tariff (Price) Council abolished the decision of December 25, 2007 'On the regulation of tariffs for paid services rendered by the central laboratory of the State Customs Committee'.

According to the council, this decision was made in accordance with the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated Sept. 5, 2012 to approve the amount of customs duties collected for the examination of goods on the initiative of individuals declaring goods and those having authority over the goods and their representatives.

The decision comes into force on Oct. 5.

The abolition of the previous decision of the Tariff Council was considered at a board meeting on Oct. 2.

The amount of customs fees for the examination of goods is determined as follows:
