In January-August, 2012, Azerbaijan-based construction companies increased the construction works by 34.9% compared to a year earlier.
State Statistical Committee says the 73.2% of total works made new construction and reconstruction, 14.1% - capital repair, 2.3% - current repair, 10.4% - other construction works. 24.7% of construction works were conducted by state companies, 75.3% - by non-state companies.
Note that, average monthly salary of 86,900 persons rose 8.4% to AZN 557.1. THE salaries of workers in large and small companies stood at AZN 584.3, in civil construction works rose 19.3%, in specialized works – 14.5%, in construction of buildings – 1.3%.
