The board composition of Alfa S??orta insurance company changed, the new chairman of the Board of Directors Elshad Aliyev told Trend on Thursday.
He noted that the company will announce the names of the new chairman and board members of the company on Friday. Previously Ibrahim Ibrahimov occupies the position of chairman of the board.
"The new board is partially formed from specialists of the International Insurance Company (IIC)," Aliyev said.
Prior to this appointment Elshad Aliyev was the Deputy Chairman of the IIC.
These appointments are largely due to the new development strategy of Alfa S??orta and its founder - Azerbaijani TexnikaBank, which focuses on the development of infrastructure, introduction of new technologies and standards of corporate governance.
"Alfa S??orta will go through the process of institutional development and modernization, which will allow the company to strengthen its position in the market and offer innovative insurance solutions that meet the modern requirements," Aliyev said earlier.
Alfa S??orta is a subsidiary of TexnikaBank and, being established in 1997, is one of the oldest companies in the insurance sector of Azerbaijan.
