As of June 1, 2012, the volume of deposits placed at the existing credit institutions in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 10.6 bln, up or 21.3% compared to last year, AZN 73.5 mln or 0.8% in April, 2012, said the State Statistical Committee.
AZN 7.7 bln in the structure of deposits made long-term deposits, maturity date of AZN 720.1 mln expired.
Besides, population’s deposits in the bank rose 30.7% to AZN 4.3 bln. Deposits in national currency made AZN 2.4 bln, in foreign currency – AZN 1.9 bln.
