A Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) will open a regional office in Azerbaijan, said Director-General of FAO Jose Graziano da Silva in the press conference here.
FAO official stated that Azerbaijan can play an important role in ensuring food security. “There are natural resources in the region where Azerbaijan is located. There is no lack of soil and water here. Azerbaijan`s President has a resolute position towards improving food security. Azerbaijan will become one of the leading nations for the agricultural development”.
