Four companies have offered consulting services to the Azerbaijani State Securities Committee within the "Capital Market Modernization Project" (CMMP), the committee said on Friday.
Corporate solutions, Deloitte & Touche LLC, NASDAQ OMX and the Turkish Capital Markets Board submitted proposals for participation in the tender. The tender commission will evaluate the technical and financial offers during the next stage.
The World Bank approved a loan to Azerbaijan worth $ 12 million in March to finance the project. The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has allocated $1.6 million in the form of technical assistance.
The consultant's task includes the fulfillment of operations on the four components of the project to be completed during 2012-2015. CMMP is a continuation of the WB's support to strengthen and diversify the Azerbaijani financial sector.
