Azerbaijan Railways introduces a system of non-cash payment for passenger trains, Company spokesman Nadir Azmammadov said. The Baku Railway Station is working on installation of POS-terminals today.
"All ticket offices will be provided with devices for a plastic card. The relevant works is expected to be completed by late February,” he said. Moreover, the Baku Railway Station is equipped with two modern monitor, and the Ganja Railway Station – one monitor.
"The monitor shows information about the vacant places in passenger trains. We intend to increase the number of monitors also in other stations," Azmammadov said.
