By Nigar Orujova If Spring is known for being a romantic season, and sometimes a lazy season, for students in their final year spring also rhymes with pragmatism as they begin their job search. And though students will spent most of their energy revising for their finals, job hunting is also on their mind. Thankfully finding a job in Azerbaijan is not an arduous task, especially since so many outlets and venues have opened their doors to job seekers and employers. One has only to take to the internet to find a job. Multiple sites offer extensive list of vacancies. The first step toward success involves the creation of a good CV. It needs to include personal details, education and qualification as well as all other relevant skills and work experience. Writing a good CV can make a world of difference when it comes to looking for that dream job. Nowadays, students have begun sending their CVs before finishing their studies as to beat the competition and get a solid footing in the job market. After the CV comes the much dreaded work interview. The key to success here is to stay composed, calm and most of all collected. One need to retain the ability to intelligently present oneself and demonstrate one's ability when under a stressful situation, experts in human resources have noted. Following are a few advice: First, candidate should stand ready to answer a wide array of questions: What kind of jobs are you looking for? What position will suit you? What can you offer potential employers? The candidate should then make a list of his/her key skills, and highlight professional achievements, as well as analyze his or her strengths before facing a potential employer. Many candidates quickly respond to job offers without ever considering their suitability. This leads to failures and a loss of confidence. Candidates should learn about their potential employer(s) before the interview to better be able to demonstrate their motivations and ambitions. Moreover, a thorough research can help candidates determine whether or not they see themselves having a career in the company. Optimism, healthy ambitions, and self-confidence will make candidates stand out from others and therefore guarantee success. Self-confidence is a main issue when looking for a job, and so candidates must try to stay level-headed and calm. Eventually patience and persistence will pay off.
