Exhibition by American-Azerbaijani artist held in Washington

The Karabakh Foundation organized an exhibition “Divided Colours” by Abol Bahadori, well-known American artist of Azerbaijani origin, in Edison PEPCO Gallery in Washington.

Bahadori, native of Tabriz city in Southern Azerbaijan, has studied fine arts in Tabriz and later furthered his education in Manchester, England.

He is member of the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Art, Delray Professionals, Alexandria Art League and Autumn Church Art Museum. He has already displayed his works in Northern Virginia.

The exhibition was attended by representatives of Washington-based cultural organizations and members of the Azerbaijani community. 40% of the proceeds from the exhibition were donated to the Karabakh Foundation.
