Azeri female chess players perform in European Championship

The European chess championship amongst women wrapped up in Tbilisi.

As a result of 11 rounds in Swiss system, the highest rank amid Azerbaijani players was taken by Khayala Abdulla who ranked 26th with 7 points.

Other Azerbaijani rankers include 39. Narmin Kazimova - 6 points; 56. Zeinab Mammadyarova - 6 points; 58. Khayala Iskenderova - 5,5 points; 68. Narmin Khalafova - 5,5 points; 78. Sabina Ibrahimova - 5 points; 85. Gulnar Mammadova - 5 points; 94. Aysel Mammadova - 4,5 points; 98. Turkan Mamedyarova - 4.5 points; 102. Nargiz Umudova - 4,5 points; 105. Sabina Guliyeva - 4,5 points; 110. Turan Askerova - 4 points; 119. Ulviya Fataliyeva - 3,5 points; 128 and Narmin Soyunlu - 2,5 points.

The event gathered totally 130 female chess players amongst which Lithuanian Victoria Chmilite became European Champion with 9 points.
