Azeri cyclist ranks second in international tournament

Azeri cyclist Elmar Ismayilov finished second in an international marathon "Grand Caucasus" dedicated to the 88th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Gabala.

Prior to the event, participants of the marathon visited a monument to the national leader in the region.

Iranian Amir Kolahdozag claimed the title of the tournament, while Lithuanian Mantas Petrusevichius finished third.

Iran ranked first in the medal table, followed by Lithuania and Azerbaijan.

The tournament brought together cyclists from Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Georgia and Iran.
Total prize fund amount of the tournament was $ 6200.
