Azerbaijani archer performs in World Cup

The World Cup in archery is underway in Porets, Croatia.

In the preliminary stage Azerbaijani archer Dmitry Dankov scored 1226 points and ranked 101st amid 120 archers.

He lost to Italian Michele Frangilli 4:6 in the first round of the play-off and was eliminated from the tournament. The semi-final qualifiers include Paul Titsher (Germany), Martin Damsbo (Denmark), Jorge Jimenez (Spain) and Dejan Sitar (Slovenia).
