Azerbaijani judoka grabs silver in European Championship

The European Championship in judo kicked off in Istanbul.

On the first day, the Azerbaijani team gains one medal.

Thus, Tarlan Karimov, 66 kg,  triumphed over French David Larosa (France), Shalva Qaradawi (Georgia), Moosa Mogushkov (Russia), Colin Ots (UK),  lost in the final to Miklos Ungvari (Hungary) and won the silver medal.    
 
In 60 kg category, Ilgar Mushkiyev ranked 7th and Nijat Shikhalizade 5th.
