AFFA finds over 100 Azerbaijani footballers playing abroad

The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has found more than 100 talented Azerbaijani footballers who played abroad in 2010, AFFA said on Wednesday.

As a result of the selection work carried out by AFFA, 54 of 103 fellow citizens were invited to Azerbaijan to play, and 29 were invited to the national team.

The majority of Azerbaijani footballers playing abroad were born in 1995. The most capable Azerbaijani football players were found in Russia - 83 people. They also play in Germany, Estonia, Sweden, Ukraine, Serbia and Belarus.

Some footballers are invited to the national team.
